Or he sees Wilson's cold glare, telling him in no uncertain terms that he is unwanted. Sometimes the image morphs into a sickening combination of the two that makes him want to tear his eyes out of his head, or vomit, or scream at the top of his lungs that nothing is as unfair as this.

The story begins from 97 Seconds, with the authors' take on where House's mind was taken after he shocked himself with the knife in the electric socket. From that point forward, the story twists through an interesting mirror maze of House's mind and the strange direction his relationship with Wilson takes after Amber dies. The story is a very dark one; it leaves little to the imagination, with almost every dark theme you can think of touched on at some point. Without a doubt, whatever it may be that you end up taking away from this story, it's one you definitely won't forget for a long, long time.
