Happy holidays, everyone! The second month of the writing challenge has gone by. We're halfway to the Complete Draft Due Date! Is your story half-way done to match?

Whether you've only just begun or already finished, this is the post to either act smugly superior or nervously guilty. If you need some cheerleading, some beta support, or just to let us know that you're still here, then comment away. It's also the place to do some handholding for your fellow participants! Remember, too, that there's always housebigbangers if you want to post on- or off-topic about any Big Bang business.

I have two chapters of about twenty written. Between finishing a semseter with finals and the holiday, I haven't really gotten very much farther than a month ago. Hopefully this month break will allow me to start writing chapters. I do have a beta though, and we have begun work on my two chapters.

I will hopefully have a full draft when it is due, but this isn't a very good start. I have the whole story roughly outlined, so that is all that's saving me right now.
I had forgotten that the 15th was the halfway mark until today, and I can't work on it today either.

Here's to all that are sadly behind with the big bang. Best of luck to you all, I'm sure it will turn out find in the end.

I've got between 5500 and 6000 words done so far, but I took a break to do NaNoWriMo, so it should go much faster this month. I'm still happy with my premise and where I want to go with this story - just have to get there.

8000ish! 6 scenes out of out of at least 17! So, no, not halfway. :< But I haven't been writing most of the time, sooooo, I will just have to be more dedicated in this second half! (The fun part will be typing all this up, yesssss.)

I'm between a quarter and a fifth of the way done, thanks to holidays, papers, research projects, and an upcoming final. I should get more done during the semester break, when I can more successfully set aside proper writing time.

I'm proud of myself. Altho me and deadlines don't get along, I actually have my (extremely) rough draft done at about 21000 words. Of course, there's a lot of revision to do but I feel like half the battle's done.

I have three abandoned ideas! My current story has seven entire pages! Most of which will probably be deleted in the second draft! And I have no plot!

...so, uh, like YEAH. O_O Wow. I really need to get my butt moving...

I've got one story 20,000 words in on one story but I'm not happy with it as my bigbang... And I haven't had much time to work on the other story I'm working on for bigbang given nanowrimo and finals.
