Welcome to the Big Bang Challenge for the House, M.D. fandom.

The Big Bang challenge originated in the Harry Potter community, and has since migrated and evolved through Supernatural, Heroes, SGA, and others.

The challenge is for writers to create a 20 000 word (or longer) novella for het, gen, or slash in the House fandom. Artists and vidders can create illustrations or trailer vids to go with each story.


Important Dates
September 15 - Sign ups for writers end.
December 15 - Halfway point
February 15 - Finished stories are due. No extensions will be given.
February 15 through 21 - Artists and vidders claim fic summaries.
March 25 - Artists' and vidders' submissions are due.
March 30 - Archive goes live.

I've had the House!BigBang challenge idea before, and I'm glad that someone else is doing it-- better, competent people! ^_^

I have a question, is there any chance that there will be beta made available for the writers? I have an awful time finding beta-ers as it is, and with something that long, I think I'd need some v. good blackmailing material on someone to get a beta. ^_^;;

[And, come to think of it, I don't think I myself would mind beta-ing. Maybe you could guys could have a sign-up list for volunteers?]

There will totally be a beta sign-up post, and your illustrious mod (er, me) can probably be coerced into quite a bit of betaing, because she wants everything to BE PERFECT DAMMIT run smoothly.
